The Security Industry Authority (SIA) are the regulator of the UK’s private security industry.

The SIA is an executive non-departmental public body, sponsored by the Home Office.

People working in the private security industry without an SIA licence may be breaking the law.
The Approved Contractor Scheme (ACS) was introduced by the Security Industry Authority (SIA) as a voluntary scheme. It provides contractors with recognisable approved status within a specific sector and is based on standardised qualifying criteria.

The SIA’s Approved Contractor Scheme is regarded as the benchmark for quality within the security sector. All of Keynets service delivery partners are SIA ACS accredited.

NASDU promotes standards, training and education within the private security dog sector.

All handlers that are deployed by Keynet Response are accredited with NASDU.
